Note to our supporters:
The Murphy administration has already allocated $10.5 million of our state tax dollars to Planned Parenthood in this year’s budget.
Now his administration and leaders in both houses of the legislature are planning to schedule votes after the November election to give the abortion business $9.5 M Million more – all because Planned Parenthood will not agree to comply with Federal Title X rules which require that they physically separate their “family planning” services from their abortion business in order to continue to receive federal funds.

Planned Parenthood’s New Jersey affiliates said Monday that they were withdrawing from the federal government’s family planning program because President Donald Trump won’t let them tell their patients where they can get a legal abortion.
The decision will cost the women’s health care provider and affect 77,000 New Jersey patients. State officials are looking at whether they will step in.
“Our patients come to us because they expect the best information and health care available – and we have a commitment to give that to them,” said Roslyn Rogers Collins, president and chief executive of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey. “This gag rule would make it impossible to do that.”
Marie Tasy, executive director for New Jersey Right to Life, said Planned Parenthood’s announcement “demonstrates how committed they are to their abortion business.”
Murphy spokeswoman Alyana Alfaro said the administration was working with the state’s Planned Parenthood affiliates, the Ne Jersey Family Planning League and others “to assess the need of the program and how the state might step in.”
The Trump administration gave recipients of federal funds under the Title X family planning program until Monday to agree to follow the new rule that prevents them from referring patients for abortions.
It was one of several steps taken by the administration to restrict access to abortion, a top priority of the Christian conservatives who were strong supporters of his 2016 presidential campaign.
While federal law already prevents using Title X grants for abortions, the Trump administration went further in declaring that groups receiving the federal funds could not “promote, refer for or support abortion as a method of family planning, nor take any affirmative action to assist a patient to secure such an abortion.”
While the federal dollars didn’t fund abortions, Tasy contended they were being used indirectly.
“All money is fungible,” Tasy said. “The funds they were getting were clearly being used to pay administrative expenses, salaries, electricity that their abortion business needed to be able to operate.”
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
New Jersey and 19 other states have challenged the rule in federal court. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals allowed the rule to take effect while the court case proceed, overturning two nationwide injunctions that had blocked the new regulations.
The Garden State receives $8.8 million in federal funds through Title X, according to the state Health Department. The program serves 100,000 residents in the state, with 77 percent of them seeking services at a Planned Parenthood facility in 2018. In 13 of the state’s 21 counties, it was the only clinic operating under Title X in 2018.
“The gag rule is unethical and dangerous, and we will not subject our patients to it – because every person deserves to make their own decisions about their health care,” said Triste Brooks, president and chief executive of Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey.
All clinics are keeping their regular operating hours, said Casey Olesko, a spokeswoman for Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund of New Jersey.
“Right now, we don’t know for certain what this will look like – but it’s unrealistic to think there won’t be changes,” Olesko said. The future is uncertain as we are relying on limited emergency funds. Right now NJ has no plans to close any health centers, but as this fight stretches on we don’t know what the future will hold.”
House Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone Jr., whose panel has jurisdiction over health care, said Planned Parenthood had no choice but to withdraw from Title X.
“This is yet another step in the Trump administration’s relentless campaign to undermine Americans’ health care,” said Pallone, D-6th Dist. “Make no mistake, this callous rule concocted by President Trump’s ideological henchmen jeopardizes access to health care for millions across the country.”
Planned Parenthood Director Fired for Exposing How Its Abortions Hurt Women Wins $3 Million
STEVEN ERTELT AUG 19, 2019 | 11:24AM PHOENIX, ARIZONA
An Arizona court on Friday awarded $3 million to a former Planned Parenthood director of 17 years after she sued them for wrongful termination. The abortion giant fired Mayra Rodriguez after she exposed how the abortions Planned Parenthood does hurt women.
In a stunning victory for a former Planned Parenthood director in Arizona who was wrongfully terminated after reporting high complication rates for one abortionist. Rodriguez also exposed the abortionist’s illegal conduct falsification of affidavits and patient records, incomplete abortions, and failure to report a minor who had an adult partner and was a victim of statutory rape.
A jury unanimously awarded Mayra Rodriguez $3 million in damages this past Friday after a two-week trial.
Mayra Rodriguez, who ran three Planned Parenthood clinics in Arizona and worked for the organization for 17 years, sued the non-profit after being wrongfully terminated from her position in October 2017 after repeatedly making claims that Planned Parenthood was endangering the health and safety of their patients.
Abby Johnson, another former PP director whose ministry And Then There Were None has been assisting Mayra, told LifeNews she is encopuraged by the decision.
“When Mayra came to And Then There Were None with her incredible story, I felt solidarity with her, having gone through a similar situation when I worked for Planned Parenthood. Standing with her through the trial and rejoicing in the ultimate victory has been amazing,” said Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood director herself and founder and director of And Then There Were None, a ministry that has helped over 525 abortion workers leave their jobs.
Abby’s and Mayra’s stories have striking similarities. They were both awarded Employee of the Year awards from Planned Parenthood the year before they left. They both were directors of clinics. And they both started working for Planned Parenthood for the same reasons: to help women.
“I hope my case is a lesson to other workers that shows them that the truth will prevail. I also hope my case is a lesson to employers who abuse their power: sometimes the underdog wins and justice will be done,” said Mayra Rodriguez.
Mayra’s attorney, Tim Casey, based in Phoenix, never asked for any dollar amount during the trial. The damages awarded came directly from the jury, who took three hours to reach their verdict.
“I’ve stared down Planned Parenthood in court. I know how hard it is watching your friends lie about you,” said Abby Johnson. “It’s always good to take down Planned Parenthood but it’s not without hurt.”
Mayra said the most hurtful things said in court were the deception by women she had considered friends and by Planned Parenthood executives themselves, who frequently referred to her as a ‘liar’ due to her undocumented status the entire time she worked at Planned Parenthood.
“Planned Parenthood publicly states they want to help and stand up for immigrants, that they care about these women, but it’s not true. They shamed me for my immigration status,” said Mayra. “But here we are, the jury heard the truth.”
Troubled New Jersey abortion clinics to be sold
by Marie McCullough, Updated: April 11, 2019 – 3:18 PM
The 82-year-old, physically and mentally impaired physician who has headed a chain of abortion clinics in New Jersey has agreed to sell the facilities as part of the revocation of his medical license.
Vikram Kaji lost his license in January when an administrative judge declared him incompetent to practice medicine because of his stroke-related disabilities.
Kaji’s agreement with the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, issued as a consent order Wednesday, also may enable regulators to remove the founder of the seven clinics, Steven C. Brigham, 62.
More than four years ago, the board ordered Brigham to divest his interests in the clinics when it took away his medical license — the last of six he once held — for illegally performing dangerous late-term abortions. Instead, Brigham transferred ownership for no money to medical director Kaji, who then hired Brigham to manage the clinics.
The state attorney general alleged the transfer was a sham designed to keep Brigham in control and profiting from the business.
Kaji’s agreement requires that he sell the clinics to a licensed physician within 60 days, then submit to the board “copies of the contract of sale and any management contract.”
Joseph Gorrell, the lawyer representing Kaji and Brigham, declined to comment.
The seven New Jersey clinics are part of Brigham’s multistate, Voorhees-based abortion network, advertised as American Women’s Services.
Public records and media reports going back to the early 1990s — when Brigham launched his abortion practice in Wyomissing, Pa. — have documented his history of trouble with regulators, tax collectors, landlords, creditors, and criminal prosecutors in Maryland.
He has testified that he is in financial straits. He owed almost $500,000 to the Internal Revenue Service for not paying employee taxes when he lost his New Jersey license. He has yet to pay any of the $561,000 in penalties and prosecution costs that the state imposed in connection with the revocation of his medical license.

The House of Representatives will vote on H.R. 36 on Tuesday, October 3rd. Take
Please call your Member of Congress and urge them to Vote Yes on H.R. 36, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act! Thank you!
Sep 26, 2017–
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced Tuesday that he will bring the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to the floor on Tuesday, October 3rd. The bill would ban late-term abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, the point at which scientists have determined that unborn babies feel pain.
“Science is increasingly showing by eight weeks children in the womb react to touch, by 20 and if not before, they feel pain,” McCarthy said. “Not only can they feel pain but if they are born at 20 weeks, these children increasingly have a chance to live, to grow, and lead full lives.”
Rep. McCarthy introduced Micah Pickering, a five-year-old boy who was born prematurely at 22 weeks gestational age (20 weeks).
“Looking at him I don’t think anybody would be able to tell,” Rep. McCarthy said. “He’s a perfectly healthy boy and I know everybody here is happy to have you here, Micah. This legislation is for children like Micah, it’s about drawing a line when babies have grown for 20 weeks, when they can feel pain, when they can see their noses, their ears, when we can hear the heartbeats, and we can feel their kicks and at the very least that’s when we can all agree that they should be protected.”
Micah’s mother Danielle described her ordeal with Micah’s extremely premature birth and her horror at late-term abortion.
“My heart is grieved that babies are allowed to be aborted at the same age that my own son was born and even later,” she said. “When Micah was born his eyes were still fused shut, his bones were not hardened yet, he couldn’t breathe on his own. He was medicated to stay comfortable from pain.”
“He was alive and he was fighting and he wanted to live,” she said and concluded by displaying a picture of Micah when he was first born, saying he was no bigger than a pack of M&M’s. She gestured towards her healthy five-year-old boy who was shyly standing amongst the politicians and pro-life leaders.
“Protect the lives of the most innocent people in the wonderful nation that we live in, the pre-born,” she told Congress.
Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ), the bill’s sponsor, said that “it is time that America recognizes and responds to the cries and humanity of these helpless little pain capable babies and the inhumanity of what is being done to them.” He said the bill “calls to all humane Americans to come together for that purpose.”
Rep. Diane Black (R-TN), a nurse, told those gathered that “more and more, we can celebrate the ability we have to save the life of a baby at just 20 weeks after conception – that is truly remarkable.”
“Science tells us that after 20 weeks of pregnancy, babies are able to feel pain inside the womb,” she emphasized. “It is unconscionable that this is a debate we are having here in the United States in 2017.”
She called the bill a “compassionate, commonsense measure” that “protects those who cannot protect themselves when handed a death sentence.”
Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) said that looking over at Micah he “is the face of the pro-life movement,” because “if not for the tremendous love and heroism of his parents he could’ve been yet another victim of the abortion culture and the culture of denial that drives us as a nation to look askance especially those in very elitist positions in this country.”
“Abortionists all over America decapitate, dismember, and chemically poison babies each and every day,” Rep. Smith emphasized, calling the bill a “modest but necessary attempt to at least protect babies who are 20 weeks old.”
If the bill can make it through the House and Senate, President Trump has already committed to signing it into law in a letter he sent to pro-life leaders on the campaign trail.
|As we post this article, the U.S. Senate is deliberating over a repeal of Obamacare which will defund Planned Parenthood for one year. NJ’s two U.S. Senators Cory Booker and Robert Menendez shamefully support using our tax dollars to fund this disgraceful organization and appeared with Planned Parenthood militants at a protest just yesterday in Washington, D.C. to advocate on their behalf.|
|Here in NJ, we have state legislators who continue to criticize Governor Christie for ensuring that no taxpayer money goes to Planned Parenthood. In fact, we now have 5 Republican Assembly members who have vowed to defy the Governor’s actions and force NJ taxpayers to fund Planned Parenthood. View the article here
The entire NJ Legislature is up for election on November 7th. Please take note of how your State Senator and two Assembly members vote on this issue. We will post the vote tallies on this website. Any lawmaker who supports this organization also supports Planned Parenthood’s illegal activity and should be voted out of office.
Never-before-released undercover video shows Dr. Suzie Prabhakaran, the Vice President of Medical Affairs for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, graphically discussing Planned Parenthood’s late-term “dismemberment” and partial-birth abortion protocols in the context of fetal body part harvesting.
The new video comes as the U.S. Senate is debating provisions to terminate taxpayer subsidies to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion business.
At a Planned Parenthood conference evening reception, Center for Medical Policy investigators posing as buyers from a biotech company discuss partnering with Dr. Prabhakaran’s Planned Parenthood affiliate in order to harvest fetal organs and tissues from the 2nd-trimester abortions performed there. Prabhakaran advises that her affiliate is merging with the Orlando Planned Parenthood, which does abortions up to 23 weeks and has a high procedure volume, with eighteen abortions at 18-weeks and above scheduled for the next week.
Prabhakaran discusses how Planned Parenthood allows their abortion doctors to certify compliance with the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban, which prohibits abortions in which a fetus is extracted alive up to certain anatomical landmarks (18 U.S.C. 1531). According to Prabhakaran, Planned Parenthood abortion doctors can certify compliance with the law by using a feticide like digoxin to kill the fetus before the abortion, or they can simply “document” their “intent” to do a “dismemberment” abortion where the fetus is pulled apart with forceps rather than extracted intact.
“So some people train to just document that like, you know to comply with the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban, you basically have to say, ‘I intend to utilize dismemberment techniques for this procedure,’” explains Prabhakaran. “So every time you do a procedure, that’s how you document. So, like, there’s like a checkbox,” Prabhakaran states, “so it would be before the procedure, you do your evaluation, you write, ‘I intend to utilize dismemberment techniques for this procedure.’”
Prabhakaran indicates she never uses digoxin to kill the fetus before the abortion, and relies entirely on the “checkbox” to “document” her intent in the abortion to certify compliance with the federal law: “I’m not doing digoxin, and we’re just going to document and there’s never been a problem.”
Prabhakaran’s description of Planned Parenthood’s loose protocols for 2nd-trimester abortion procedures corroborates statements by Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Senior Director of Medical Services for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, in CMP’s first undercover video, that show a lax attitude toward the partial-birth abortion law:
“The Federal [Partial-Birth] Abortion Ban is a law, and laws are up to interpretation. So there are some people who interpret it as it’s intent. So if I say on Day 1 I do not intend to do this, what ultimately happens doesn’t matter.”
Nucatola states in the first video that Planned Parenthood abortion doctors can make changes to the abortion technique in order to bring the fetus out intact for body parts harvesting, regardless of any initial “intent” statement: “So if you do it starting from a breech [feet-first] presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium [head] at the end.”
CMP project lead David Daleiden notes, “Planned Parenthood medical directors and abortion doctors feign compliance with the federal partial-birth abortion law on paper, knowing full well that ‘what ultimately happens doesn’t matter’ so long as no one is scrutinizing what they actually do to women and children in the operating room. And the fact that Planned Parenthood has a ‘dismemberment’ ‘checkbox’ on their abortion forms should tell the public and policymakers everything they need to know about this barbaric abortion business. The Department of Justice should open an immediate investigation into Planned Parenthood’s late-term abortion practices, and the U.S. Congress must stop forcing taxpayers to subsidize Planned Parenthood’s brutal abortion empire.”
‘I Might . . . Pull Off a Leg or Two’ Center for Medical Progress video (via YouTube)
A shocking new undercover video exposes the grisly reality of ripping apart fetuses. Editor’s Note: This piece has been updated since its initial posting.
A shocking new video has just been released by the Center for Medical Progress, the undercover investigative group that in 2015 released videos showing that Planned Parenthood affiliates have profited from selling the body parts of aborted babies.
This latest video is a preview of footage that CMP investigators gathered at the 2014 and 2015 National Abortion Federation conventions, attended by hundreds of members of the abortion industry each year. (The NAF is a major trade group of North American abortion providers, and Planned Parenthood makes up about 50 percent of its members and leadership.) Here are some of the most horrifying remarks from the brand-new undercover footage. Attendees made some of these comments during official presentations, and others directly to undercover CMP investigators.
Dr. Lisa Harris, the medical director of Planned Parenthood of Michigan: Given that we actually see the fetus the same way, and given that we might actually both agree that there’s violence in here. . . . Let’s just give them all the violence, it’s a person, it’s killing, let’s just give them all that. Dr. Ann Schutt-Aine, the director of abortion services for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast (which has been referred to local law-enforcement for criminal charges related to fetal-tissue trafficking): If I’m doing a procedure, and I’m seeing that I’m in fear that it’s about to come to the umbilicus [navel], I might ask for a second set of forceps to hold the body at the cervix and pull off a leg or two, so it’s not PBA [partial-birth abortion].
Dr. Stacy De-Lin, the director of abortion services for Planned Parenthood of New York City: But we certainly do intact D&Es [dilation and extraction, otherwise known as partial-birth abortion, a method that is illegal under federal law].
Dr. Uta Landy, the founder of the Consortium of Abortion Providers (CAPS), Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA): An eyeball just fell down into my lap, and that is gross! [laughter from the crowd]
Talcott Camp, the deputy director of the ACLU’s Reproductive Health Freedom Project: I’m like — Oh my God! I get it! When the skull is broken, that’s really sharp! I get it! I understand why people are talking about getting that skull out, that calvarium.
Dr. Susan Robinson, an abortion provider at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte: The fetus is a tough little object, and taking it apart, I mean, taking it apart on Day One is very difficult. . . . You go in there, and you go, “Am I getting the uterus or the fetus? Oh, good, fetus. [Robinson makes a stabbing sound effect] What have I got? Nothing. Let’s try again.
Below are some comments from the footage that provide further evidence of Planned Parenthood’s involvement in illegally profiting from fetal-tissue trafficking, as well as altering abortion procedures to collect intact organs, which is also illegal under federal law.
Dr. Leslie Drummond, an abortion provider at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (a PPFA affiliate that contracted with a biotech firm to be paid per fetal organ provided): I get a lot of oohs and ahhs from StemExpress [biotech firm]. You know, they’re wanting livers. . . . Last week I was in Sacramento, and she said, “I need four intact limbs.” And I said, you want what?
Dr. Deborah Nucatola, the senior director of medical services for PPFA: You know, sometimes she’ll tell me she wants brain, and we’ll, you know, leave the calvarium in till last, and then try to basically take it, or actually, you know, catch everything and keep it separate from the rest of the tissue so it doesn’t get lost.
StemExpress procurement manager: There’s a lot of clinics that we work with that, I mean, it helps them out significantly.
Deb VanDerhei, the national director of CAPS for PPFA: But the truth is that some might want to do it to increase their revenues. And we can’t stop them. Dr. Stacy De-Lin, the director of abortion services for Planned Parenthood of NYC: But I think a financial incentive from you guys [CMP investigators posing as tissue buyers] is going to be like . . . the people who we have to get this approved from will be very happy about it.
Dr. Paul Blumenthal, the former medical director for PP of Maryland: I know Planned Parenthood sells a lot of stuff [fetal organs] to people.
Both the NAF and Planned Parenthood sought and obtained a preliminary injunction against the Center for Medical Progress to prevent the release of these undercover videos. That civil suit is currently on appeal. But California’s attorney general took matters into his own hands in late March, charging CMP investigators David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt with 14 felony counts of illegally recording “confidential communications.” The state refuses to name the 14 accusers in the criminal case, even though Daleiden and Merritt have themselves been charged publicly.
The gruesome footage from this latest video leaves no doubt as to why NAF and Planned Parenthood want to silence CMP’s investigators. “Every video recording for which the attorney general is charging David was obviously and unquestionably made in a public place where it could not possibly be considered ‘confidential,’” says Brent Ferreira, one of Daleiden’s defense attorneys.
The gruesome footage from this latest video leaves no doubt as to why NAF and Planned Parenthood want to silence CMP’s investigators. Those in the abortion industry know they’re taking human life. They just don’t care. Updated May 26, 10:40 a.m.: A California judge ordered the CMP’s defense attorneys to remove the video footage from YouTube and from their website.

The White House, concerned about the possible political repercussions of the Republican effort to defund Planned Parenthood, has proposed preserving federal payments to the group if it discontinues providing abortions.
The proposal, which was never made formally, has been rejected as an impossibility by officials at Planned Parenthood, which receives about $500 million annually in federal funding. That money helps pay for women’s health services the organization provides, not for abortion services.
“Let’s be clear, federal funds already do not pay for abortions,” Dawn Laguens, the executive vice president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said on Monday. “Offering money to Planned Parenthood to abandon our patients and our values is not a deal that we will ever accept. Providing critical health care services for millions of American women is nonnegotiable.”
But the outreach to allies of Planned Parenthood is a glimpse of the internal struggle inside a White House torn between trying to satisfy the conservative base that elected President Trump and responding to the views of his older daughter, Ivanka Trump, who urged her father to tread carefully on the Planned Parenthood issue during the Republican primary contest.
Mr. Trump’s older daughter has no formal role in the administration, but as an informal adviser she has made women’s issues a specific focus. She has had a mixed record of success in the administration’s early days, but during the campaign, she was able to nudge Mr. Trump toward a nuanced view of Planned Parenthood’s work.
Mr. Trump confirmed the discussions in a statement on Monday to The New York Times.
“As I said throughout the campaign, I am pro-life and I am deeply committed to investing in women’s health and plan to significantly increase federal funding in support of nonabortion services such as cancer screenings,” he said. “Polling shows the majority of Americans oppose public funding for abortion, even those who identify as pro-choice. There is an opportunity for organizations to continue the important work they do in support of women’s health, while not providing abortion services.”
In private discussions with people close to Planned Parenthood, White House officials have at times suggested that there could even be an increase in federal earmarks if the work related to abortion ends.
At various points during the presidential campaign, Mr. Trump spoke favorably of the work of Planned Parenthood, even while saying he would support withdrawing its funding if abortions continued.
